CryptoTrace Kenya – Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by CryptoTrace Kenya (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services.

 
2. Services Provided
CryptoTrace Kenya provides professional cryptocurrency investigation, blockchain analysis, compliance consulting, expert witness testimony, and training services.

The specific scope of services will be outlined in a written engagement agreement before work begins.

 
3. Eligibility
To engage our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Have the legal authority to enter into contracts
Provide accurate and complete information when requested
 
4. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality for all investigations and client information.
We will not disclose your information except as required by law or with your written consent.
All staff and contractors are bound by non-disclosure agreements.
 
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide accurate, lawful, and complete information relevant to the engagement
Obtain all necessary permissions for us to access data and conduct investigations
Comply with all applicable laws when using our services
 
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services to:

Engage in unlawful activities
Conceal, launder, or disguise illicit funds
Violate any anti-money laundering or counter-terrorism financing laws
Misrepresent or falsify evidence
 
7. Fees & Payment
Our fees will be outlined in a written engagement letter or service contract.
Payments are due as specified in the agreement.
Late payments may incur interest charges and/or suspension of services.
 
8. Reports & Deliverables
Any investigative reports, analyses, or advice provided are for the intended recipient only and may not be shared without our consent.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that our findings will meet specific outcomes (e.g., asset recovery).
 
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
 
10. Compliance with Law
We operate in full compliance with:

The Kenya Data Protection Act (2019)
The Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act
All other relevant laws and regulations
 
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate services if:

You breach these Terms
The engagement would violate applicable laws
Mutual agreement to end the engagement
 
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kenya.

 
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website with the revised effective date.
